Offical Bigshot® FAQs
1. How big is an Official Bigshot?
Let’s put it this way, probably bigger than you have wall space for! We can make them up to 7ft tall with a maximum width of 60 inches. When we say 6ft tall, it means 6ft in length by the longest side. 2. What is an Official Bigshot made of? First, the pride you put into it. Second, the best material on the market – Photo-Tex. It will stick to your wall better than vinyl and will come of easily, but only when you want it to. We have tried vinyl as photographers and it does not stick as well or to as many surfaces as Photo-Tex. 3. Are Official Bigshots just for sports? An Official Bigshot is definitely not for just sports! We have cars, pets, people dressed up in costumes, graduates and many other ideas people have come up with. Whatever you want to put on the wall to show your passion can be an Official Bigshot. 4. Are Official Bigshots safe for my wall? Absolutely. You won’t need any tape, glue, or tacks to help it stick, but it will come off when you want it to, without any residue left behind. This is perfect for you because it doesn’t lose it’s tackiness either, which makes it perfect for moving to another location! 5. How much will it cost me to be an Official Bigshot?
6. What file formats are accepted? Not only JPEG, but EPS, PDF, TIFF, AI, SVG, and PSD as well. 7. What are the requirements for my image? It is recommended that the image be taken with a 4 megapixel camera or higher. This is important because the final product is only as good as the original image. (If the original image looks blurry, then the Official Bigshot will be blurry too.) The subject needs to fill up the majority of the picture. (The less cropping that needs to be done to the original image, the better.) Please see the chart below to get an idea of how your image will turn out as an Official Bigshot.
8. Can you help me find a photographer to take a great shot? Yes, please click here to see if there is a photographer in your area that has signed up with us. Please use the "search for photographer" link on the Photographer page. 9. How long does it take to receive my Official Bigshot? You will receive email updates of your order status after you order, but expect your Official Bigshot to ship via USPS within 5-7 days. Depending on where you live, maybe sooner!! 10. Is the Official Bigshot web site secure? Our website encrypts all communication between the browser running on your PC and our web servers. The Official Bigshot website utilizes a 256 bit encryption process called Secure Socket Layer (SSL) for all pages when logged in. 11. How much is shipping and handling? We charge a flat rate of 9.99 per order unless you order more than 10 Official Bigshots at a time – then you need to get in touch with us. Contact us! 12. What form of payment is accepted? Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover 13. Can I cancel my order? You can cancel your order within 12 hours of placing it by contacting us. After that, it has been printed and it is too late. Sorry, we move pretty quick around here. 14. Do you have a return policy? Yes. If there is any error in the printing or die-cast cutting of your Official Bigshot, you can return it to us, as long as you have it placed on the original backing material and send it back in its original packaging. Returns will be refunded only if there was an error in the printing or cutting process. If you need to return an item, send us an email. We stand behind our work. 15. Can you ship to a P.O. Box? Sorry, we cannot ship to a P.O. Box, but if you send it to your friends house and they see it, they will think you are really cool!! 16. I have a question that is not listed here! Contact us! |
